We've seen similar laws proposed in each of the states. They've attacked our health care, drag shows, pride flags, DEI efforts, non-discrimination rights, and everything else they can think of. Trump has used recission powers to strip away already-approved funding from housing, HIV prevention, health care, and so much more. They have stopped all foreign aid that helps protect our communities in developing nations. Trump has used executive orders to target us, and refuses to acknowledge Pride or World AIDS Day. Their unrelentless attacks against the transgender community has been dangerous and heart-breaking to watch.

Human Rights Campaign has just released this updated 16-page report called "Power of the Purse: Anti-LGBTQ+ Extremism in the Congressional Appropriations Process" that examines this problem further.
