Carranza was a 47 year old fisherman from Columbia who was killed when Pete Hegseth and Trump carried out missile strikes against a boat he was on. The US claimed they fired at a boat full of Venezuelans, but it actually contained Columbian citizens. They have not provided any evidence that the boat was carrying drugs, but even if true they didn't interdict the ship and arrest anyone - they carried out extra-judicial murders.
