It shut down all of their GSA clubs so they have no support, and the teachers are forcing the students to use their deadname and gender at birth. This will increase youth suicide, runaways, bullying, and violence against them. Schools need to be a safe place for everybody, and these hateful laws destroy that. Florida and lots of other red states have similar laws. There are also numerous book bans across the country that are censoring all books that relate to LGBTQIA+ or gender identity. We have to stop the spread of these harmful laws, and repeal those that already exist. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
