	<description><![CDATA[<p><span style="white-space:pre-wrap;">In <strong>Colorado</strong>, the <strong>Durango Police Department</strong> received a report that one of the children in <strong>ICE </strong>custody may have been in distress and experiencing <strong>child abuse</strong>. Officers tried to conduct a <strong>welfare check</strong> and bring food, but the federal agents denied them entry into the facility. The feds also haven't allowed any <strong>members of Congress</strong> to visit any <strong>ICE </strong>facility as part of their oversight duties, using the government shutdown as an excuse.
