Officers tried to conduct a welfare check and bring food, but the federal agents denied them entry into the facility. The feds also haven't allowed any members of Congress to visit any ICE facility as part of their oversight duties, using the government shutdown as an excuse. I can only imagine the horrors that they are hiding.
