The data being shared was usually racist and was priming police for violence. Those practices haven't stopped, as we see with these ridiculous claims made about Tren de Aragua and Venezuela. I don't know how many times I've heard the rumor that police had been "greenlit" by the gang and that large bounties are on their heads. Those lies have now been repeated by RepubliKKKlan lawmakers like racist Texas Governor Abbott. This time it wasn't a hack that revealed the truth, but by documents uncovered through FOIA requests. Police lied. They always lie. Now those lies are being used as a pretext for a war with Venezuela. #ACAB
