I wrote about this earlier, but thankfully there is video showing the agents dragging him out of his truck, getting on top of him, and asking him for his papers. It was the second time today they made him show his "papers" so obviously Aceituno was terrified and didn't understand what was going on.

Think about it: a citizen who was doing nothing wrong was stopped twice, had his pickup truck window broken out, was dragged from his vehicle, thrown to the ground, and then man-handled by heavily-armed men in masks. This is happening in America! We have to record everything that these thugs do!

CBP/ICE Bringing Armored Vehicles to Charlotte and New Orleans

DHS has requested armored BearCats and special operations teams for their raids in North Carolina and Louisiana. They're currently setting up their operations center in Charlotte, and the community there is already reporting violence against minorities. ICE Violence Arrives In Charlotte, North Carolina

The heavily-armed masked goons are already terrorizing minorities in North Carolina. Willy Aceituno is a Honduran-born US citizen, and federal agents smashed the window out of his pickup truck (covering him in glass), they took his keys from him, and has tried arresting him twice this morning. The first time they inspected his immigration papers after breaking out his window, and then they stopped him again to check his papers when he came out of a restaurant. He says the agents are in a Suburban and keep circling around. They are not stopping any Blacks or White people - they are using the racial profiling powers that SCOTUS recently gave them (coined "Kavanaugh Stops") which violates their 4th Amendment rights.

CBP Thug Bovino Vows Retaliation After Court Loss

After an adverse court ruling for violating a 2022 consent decree, a maniacal Gregory Bovino threatens to retaliate against immigrants. I can guarantee that his words will be used against him in court, especially since he is still likely facing sanctions for flouting the temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction from another federal judge. During his deposition, he was caught lying while under oath. It's also not smart to attack judges when you are already under their scrutiny for your illegal actions. Bovino said, "That's a very corrupt system in Chicago, whether it's those elected leaders like Pritzer or those out-of-control judges."

Even if these racist Gestapo goons were promised pardons by Trump, it won't protect them from any state charges that they may face. As they ramp up their violent attacks on our communities, our people are energized and organized against them. The Resistance is strong!

I like this opinion piece that says: "The Holocaust showed us the devastating consequences when too many remain bystanders in the face of hate. ICE in Alabama and North Carolina

CBP goon Gregory Bovino and his gang of thugs are going to be in Charlotte on Saturday, so the community is preparing for their arrival. After terrorizing the communities in North Carolina, they plan to head to New Orleans to wreak havoc.

In Alabama, there is a cooperation agreement between ICE and the state and local police. They have been raiding workplaces, and setting up roadblocks where they check your documents. I'm so proud of all of the protestors who showed up in Jemison to protest the raids held in Chilton County! (see the linked article)

Every community needs to organize ICE Kits that contain whistles and multi-lingual Know Your Rights cards. You blow the whistle loudly with three short bursts if you spot ICE, and you blow the whistle with three long bursts if a detention is in progress. You keep blowing the whistle until a crowd shows up. Record everything!

Many communities have set up ICE hotlines where you can report their activity. Those hotlines also need "verifiers" who go out and verify the reported activity by taking photos and video. The hotlines also need bilingual workers to answer the phones. If you are interested in volunteering, seek out the immigration activists in your community for info on how to join the effort.

More Violations of TRO and Preliminary Injunction in Chicago

Another notice of violations has just been filed which documents even more incidents where DHS/ICE/CBP violated the judge's orders. In a Joint Status Report also filed today, it says "Plaintiffs are still considering their position with respect to a motion for sanctions." This latest notice includes the outrageous incident where video shows federal agents for no reason deploying pepper spray into a car window with a man and his one year old daughter in the car.

CBP Bovino And His ICE Goons Leaving Chicago

Trump Is "White-Washing" Our Nation's History

As well as trying to “memory hole” the violent January 6th insurrection, Trump has been “auditing” all of our museums and removing exhibits that document our nation's history of slavery and segregation.

At the visitors center at the Netherlands American Cemetery in Martgaarten, they just quietly removed two panels honoring a war hero named George Pruitt, and referencing the segregation faced by Black troops. The Dutch officials are angry and demanding answers, because the Black troops helped liberate the Netherlands from the Nazis in World War 2.

Our government agencies from top to bottom have declared a war on diversity, and are attempting to whitewash our history. We can't let that happen!

"Oath Keepers" Is Relaunching Their Militia

Their leader Stewart Rhodes was serving an 18-year sentence for seditious conspiracy until Trump pardoned him. Now, Rhodes is reactivating his militia in the hopes that Trump will put them into action to go after immigrants. This group was already dangerous, but if they get a blessing (and promises of a pardon) from Trump, then all hell is going to break lose in our communities. Trump has been itching to use the Insurrection Act, but our protests up to this point have been non-violent. These violent militia groups need to be infiltrated and shut down immediately! Their ultimate goal is to start a civil war.

Senate Reports Widespread Abuse in Immigration Centers

Senator Jon Ossoff has been conducting human rights investigations into the conditions at US immigration facilities. His first report revealed the abuse of children and pregnant women. His second report in the series covers the medical neglect, and denial of adequate food or water for ICE detainees. The DHS has refused to allow any oversight of their facilities during the government shutdown, so I'm thankful the Georgia Senator is doing the best he can to reveal credible reports of abuse. DHS Expands Biometrics Collection Despite Privacy and Civil Liberties Concern

DHS is expanding it's collection and storage of mandatory biometrics (DNA, fingerprints, face and iris scans) from US Citizens, US Nationals, and lawful permanent residents. They are already photographing all non-citizens as they cross the border, but now they're expanding their data collection to just about everybody. The data is stored for 75 years, which raises concerns about security of the private data. This comes after they've already hired contractors to increase their online surveillance operations.

Did DHS Just Lie About "Shots Fired"? Where is the Evidence???

Lots of media outlets are running stories about DHS claiming that in Chicago shots were fired at them by a man in a black Jeep who got away. Remember that all cops lie, especially DHS, so we can't accept anything they say without solid proof.

Today it was border patrol chief Gregory Bovino who made the claims about shots being fired, but he is the same one who got caught telling the court that he was struck in the head by a rock thrown by a protester. The video evidence proved he was telling a lie!

After Bovino claimed that shots were fired today, the Chicago police responded but couldn't find any evidence. None of the video taken by protestors show any shots being fired or a man in a black Jeep. All of the federal agents are supposed to be recording their interactions with body cameras, so where is their evidence? It seems that Bovino used that lie as a pretext for launching tear gas at the protestors again. That would be yet another violation of the restraining order, so let's see what gets filed in court about the incident.

We also need to see evidence that agents were shot at from across the Mexican border. I have yet to see any proof of that, either.

ICE Outsources Work to Private Contractors

DHS/ICE is working on billions of dollars in procurement contracts to outsource much of their work to private contractors. They have secured contracts with agencies who will be serving as bounty hunters to hunt down immigrants using skip-trace methods, and they will be paid based on their performance. They already have over 60,000 people in detention, and they are using private prison operators like CoreCivic who will make money off every person they put in jail. There is also a plan for a huge call center in Nashville, TN (where CoreCivic is based) to track unaccompanied minors. Another contract is to hire private contractors to transport all of the immigrants between locations.

It is bad enough to have trigger-happy militarized agents in masks going around terrorizing our communities, but the introduction of all of the private contractors make it even more dangerous. They're also turning the immigration crackdown into a money-making machine, which is wrong on so many levels.

National Guard Deployment to Oregon Violates 10th Amendment and Federal Law

Here's the partial Final Judgment by Federal Judge Karin Immergut which says Trump violated the Tenth Amendment and "Defendants’ actions exceeded the scope of the President’s authority pursuant to Title 10, United States Code, Section 12406." That means that the deployment of National Guard troops to Oregon were illegal. Federal District Judge Sara Ellis slams DHS/ICE in her opinion and order where she grants the plaintiff's request to certify a class. They are clearly targeting non-violent people who are exercising their First Amendment rights. She created a main class, and then carved out two subclasses: one for exercise of religion, and one for the press.

The main class consists of:

ICE Filing "Fictional" Cases in Order to Jail Immigrants

District Judge Xavier Rodriguez slammed the Trump administration for filing a “largely fictional” case in order to sentence Jaime Alberto Quintanilla-Chavez to 20 years for allegedly harming an officer and impeding officers. You might remember the viral video showing an ICE agent breaking out the truck window. ICE has broken 50 windows this year, compared to just 8 in the past decade. The judge wrote that letting the indictment stand “would grant immigration enforcement officers carte blanche to evade the requirements of the Fourth Amendment."
