Our Allies View USA As Security Risk

The "Five Eyes" (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America) is an alliance of intelligence agencies that was formed after World War II. Since Trump's first election, and especially after he was caught hoarding top secret documents at Mar-a-Lago, our allies have been slowly stepping back from sharing the most sensitive intelligence with the USA because they know it will go directly to Putin and likely be traded with Xi. Our own nuclear secrets were being shared with Saudi Arabia, which even a president doesn't have the sole ability to declassify those documents. Although the data sharing has been limited, our allies admit that with the NSA taps on all of the undersea cables and other communications systems that the USA is likely not missing out on much.

What really broke the relationship with all of our allies was Trump's new National Security Strategy document which attacks Europe, but has nothing really bad to say about Russia, China, or North Korea. That's caused everyone to reassess their relationships, and now even our allies have determined that the USA is a global security risk to the world.

The latest to express their concern is the Danish Defense Intelligence Service (DDIS) who noted that the USA “uses economic power, including threats of high tariffs, to enforce its will and no longer rules out the use of military force, even against allies.” They were particularly concerned about Trump's desire to take over Greenland, and they also see how Trump is being played by Putin in his eagerness to end the war in Ukraine in his obsession to win a peace prize. The USA is abandoning NATO, and is going to allow Putin to start a war with Europe. Why should they trust us?

Everyone is finally waking up to the fact that Trump is not just a grave threat to US democracy, but is a threat to the entire world. There's a link to the DDIS report in this article, but the document is written in Danish:
